Disable your Onedrive backup of documents folder, and you are good to go.
Literally, this is not a bug, it's what happens with many games (you'll be surprised how many are affected) generally speaking, "old" games. For example, Mass effect Legendary Edition (the remaster) had the same issue, just to name one.
There is nothing to fix, it's not specific to this game.
Disable your Onedrive backup and you are go.
This did nothing. My save files are still in the wind
I was just trying to run two different character builds on my different computers, but doing the same stuff right after each other got old.
I use cloud saves for almost everything else; Bethesda games no.
