So you bought this ?
You bought a 60$ remaster of a 20 years old game ?

You bought a 60$ modded Oblivion, with no mod support and woke crap ?

Well done, you proved Darwin wrong.

You have issue probably because it is NOT a REMAKE. It is a REMASTER. Different products.
Learn what a remaster and a remake is. Idc how they called it, it's a REMAKE.

LOL no.. it's a remaster. NOWHERE is said this is a remake.

Name of the game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered

Remaster:
Improves the original game's graphics, audio, and performance (e.g., higher resolution, better textures, improved frame rate).

Keeps the original engine or updated version, gameplay mechanics, and story mostly intact.

Example: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition – same game, upgraded visuals and stability on modern platforms.

Remake:
Rebuilds the game from the ground up, often with a new engine.

Updates gameplay mechanics, UI/UX, and sometimes even changes story elements.

For oblivion specifically:

Remaster Traits Present
Same map and world layout (Cyrodiil).

Same quests and storylines.

Visuals and performance are improved, but not redesigned.

Uses mods or custom code to enhance — not rebuild — systems.

Uses a mix between Unreal Engine and the original Gamebryo Engine.

A Remake Would Typically:
Rebuild the entire game in Unreal or a modern engine from scratch.

Overhaul systems like combat, AI, leveling, quest logic.

Possibly reinterpret story beats or restructure quests entirely.

Can feel like a modern reinterpretation of the original.

Example: Resident Evil 2 Remake – same basic premise and characters, but fully modernized gameplay, controls, and visuals.

I bought it twice. On my pc AND on my Xbox, both DELUXE.
Would do it again. I support the developers i like to support, and guess what? you have no say on it.

No official mod support does not mean no mods support. Community mods are working perfectly fine, already almost a thousand have been released.
In short words: First KNOW, then post. Or you end up fooling yourself on a public forum, as you did here, dear OP.

$50, not $60.
Yup and having a blast and already got my moneys worth and still have a lot of game play left. Who needs mod support, learn to use Nexus mods you scrub

Same. I gifted to a friend on Steam.
No Bethesda.net in-game mod menu, but mods definitely work. I’ve made 3 so far and they work fine.

yea, i did, and i'm loving it

cope and seethe
$50 for a remastered game with all of the DLC included is a good price. They could have charged for inflation and they didn't.

What's supposed to be woke about this lol?

Imperials hating on Agonians and Kajits in Leyawiin, necrophilia, and stereotype fantasy characters good vs evil, even sacrificing innocent on the altar of demon gods.
Yeah, totally woke.

Ohh...edge lord. Personally I bought a £49.99 remaster of a 20 year old game, I'm not American.

There I've answered your desperate cry for attention. Hope it helped.
OP is poor/jealous/coping with bad PC

Yes, so did 4 million other people. No mod support? Have you looked at Nexus Mods? Sure seems like a lot of mods for a game that doesn't support mods.

Edit: This game has the most detailed fantasy racism of any series btw, should be right up your maga ally
