Insufficient Madness Ore:
Crafting a Madness Cuirass requires 5 pieces of Madness Ore. If you don't have enough ore in your inventory, Cutter won't display the option to craft the cuirass. Check your inventory to ensure you have at least 5 pieces of Madness Ore.
Level-Based Crafting Restrictions:
The quality of Madness Armor crafted by Cutter is tied to your character's level. While there’s no explicit level restriction for crafting armor (a journal entry suggesting a level 8 requirement is misleading and not enforced), the game may not display certain options if your level doesn't align with the expected item tier. For example, higher-quality versions (e.g., Fine, Grand, or Perfect Madness Armor) are only available at higher levels (level 23+ for the best items). If you're at a lower level, ensure you're trying to craft a version available to you.
Bug in the Crafting Menu:
There’s a known issue in Shivering Isles where Cutter’s crafting menu may not display all options correctly, especially if you have multiple Madness Matrices or other items cluttering the dialogue choices. This could prevent the cuirass option from appearing, even if you have the required materials.
