No, I'll try that thanks
Update: No difference unfortunately. Good shout though.
I do not know if there are .ini tweaks out there for that or maybe even a mod on nexus.
You may want to check over there.
I will be out of here
That's outdated information. Nvidia has hired the guy (Ben Skeggs) who develops Nvidia Nouevau drivers for Linux and they have publicly stated that they are moving to make a shift towards open source drivers for Linux.
No longer true, they are actively developing nvidia drivers for linux, g-sync, dlss and framegen (not in all games apparently) works. And they have started open sourcing some stuf.. You didn't know that? wow shocker
This was always false information, Nvidia has always made drivers for Linux but they just didn't make them open source or release them non-propriety, however they never made any attempt to block open-source drivers for their hardware either and some distributions have official repos for non-propriety drivers like Ubuntu.
AMD on the other hand sucked at making drivers (in general) and so people came to rely on community drivers, AMD coasted on the fact that their drivers were so bad that people had to make drivers for em and that apparently means they like Linux, So AMD stuck with that, AMD just lets the community fix their terrible drivers.
Nvidia on the other hand actually makes products that use/utilize or improve linux, from supporting RISC-V, creating the nVidia Shield (android, thus linux based) and let's not forget nVidia's big money maker these days, the a100, if you're getting an a100, you're almost certainly shoving it into a Linux Server, such as RHEL or Debian.
This isn't to say nVidia is perfect, both nVidia and AMD both create open and closed source things. AMD has it's place in the market but nVidia and AMD is a duopoly with neither company essentially being any better than the other, they both do good things and both do bad things and they get away with a lot due to a lack of viable competition in the market.
No. I use DLSS and FG works perfectly fine.
I rather die than use FSR, EVER
