Hermaeus Mora quest NO RACES BEING CAPTURED

I've started the Hermaeus Mora daedric quest and i'm now trying to capture souls from all 10 races however, none of them are capturing, I'm not able to capture any of them...

- I've checked if i'm using a soul trap weapon already and removed any, still not working.
- I've made sure i've cast the soul trap spell Hermaeus Mora gave to me, spammed it on each character, still nothing...

Went and killed all the shrine members, still nothing, so tried a bandit camp again no pop ups to tell me i've harvested.

Is there something I'm missing? I can't remember it being this difficult? I remember it being notoriously bugged in the 2006 release but not being completely broken.

His spell works for me. Casting it on bandits, necromancers and Shivering Isles NPC's all worked without issues.

You need to use the spell provided. Mora's Soul Trap or whatever. A soul trap weapon won't do anything unless you carry a Black Soul Gem and even then it won't count for the quest.

ENG. Oh my god I got this bug too. I couldn't find the Argonian for a long time and decided to do it later. I went through all the Sheogorath missions and there I met a lizard. I cast a spell, killed it and didn't get a message. I thought maybe it was because of the trembling islands
Came back to Cyrodiil and decided to kill the Argonian from the Dark Brotherhood and Heart quest. But it doesn't work.
The solution that helped me. I saved the game to a NEW save, exited the game to the desktop. I went into the game and moved to the imperial city of Talos Plaza. And I used this spell on the guard near the gate. On each guard. There are 2 NPCs there. I received a message that such a soul already exists, I teleported to the camp of that lizard and it worked.
I followed the link "Just Chill" and tried all the methods. But only this one helped me.
And the cheat code doesn't work. Any stage doesn't work.
