Rockstar get rid of ther DEI in ther game this is why they delay the game because this game cost too much to fail.

yeah and 90% useless npcs
No, GTA 6 is postponed because lead wanted to shoehorn in ray tracing at the last moment to make the game "a benchmark in graphics performance" and that tanked performance on all of the lower end hardware to the point it was running badly just like this game.

But see, Rockstar has never released an incredibly buggy game and aren't going to do it now. Doing so would harm their brand, but not only that, they need the game to be able to played on the majority of user systems because GTA has a live service component that generates a lot of revenue.

A game that can't be enjoyed is bad, but a game that can't be played is pointless.

Understanding that, the stakeholders approved a delay rather than a push out of buggy garbage.

Gamers should be celebrating that a company cares about the low end :steamhappy:

Ah,better shut up. Can't be talking too much.
Sir this is not GTA 6 forum

I know people like Todd, but he's straight out lied about his games in the past. He's got a lot of ground work to cover in order to win back trust.

Bethesda's recent successes (Indiana Jones and Oblivion) have one common factor, those games are using MODERN engines and teams of other developers. Therefore Todd is not completely running the show and probably has much needed push back from fellow producers. This includes Microsoft. If you remember, Starfield was supposed to release a year earlier than it did, but Bethesda's parent company forced them to keep working on it.

If Todd/Bethesda keeps going this route, they may yet turn their company around.
The reason it got delayed is because they made it woke and so they need an extra year to removed everything woke in it,
I think it's hilarious hearing about GTA VI being postponed, when i heard they announced a 2025 release I immediately knew that would fall through.
This game is so big, if it pisses too many people off, it will cause a literal civil war. I don't know what else they are doing with the delay, but they are minimising the potential damage.
Sounds crazy but probably true..
