Taking Care of Lex Bug fix

I found a way to manually fix the taking care of lex bug where the stranger wont give you the letter back no matter what. i tried all the other things on the internet. so i found a nexus mod called Baka Achievement Enabler. with it downloaded (with the mod manager) you can keep your achievments unlocked and do a console command to force the game to fix itself. the devs deactivated the ability to do this in the remaster but there is a console command to reverse that as well... once you get the mod installed with the prerequisite file as well. enable them. once your in game make a save just in case. then open the console command, and type
"Altar.Cheat.AllowSetStage true"
(do not inculde the quotation marks). this will allow you to do the next step which is to put this into the console command.
"player.SetStage 00036334 40"
(again do not include the quotation marks in the console command). this worked for me and will work for everyone on pc. if nothing else will work for you try this. i dont normally post but i know how much this would suck to get stuck at late game.

I got it working by waiting 1 hour and asking more than 24 times.

I waited and did other quests also before i ended up doing the hour spam. And that finally triggered him after many clicks.
