There are so many bugs in this game it's insane, even by Bugthesda standards.
-Marksman 75 paralyzing arrows crashes the game on subsequent hits
-Destruction custom spells are bugged
-Ranged Sneak randomly does x1 damage
-Several graphical glitches with robes, invisibility, chameleon, magical auras and more
-Some of the strongest conjuration summons end up bugging and T-posing, being virtually useless (Shambles, sometimes wraiths, etc).
-All the bugs that were fixed in the old Oblivion Unofficial Patch are still there
-On top of the older bugs there's a bunch of fresh new ones due to the changes they made
At this point it's pretty clear that they didn't test anything at all whatsoever. Absolutely insulting.
I really hope we'll get a mega-patch of sorts soon, but at this point I'm looking forward to Skyblivion for a proper experience, even if it will release without the Shivering Isles.
Look I don't know if you played Skyrim at launch, but the Oblivion Remaster is the world's most stable and acceptable game by comparison.
YEARS after Skyrim released they still hadn't fixed Esbern's PC dialogue just straight up not playing, and he was a hugely important character.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to tell anyone they should embrace the bugs. I AM telling everyone they're too caught up in the nostalgia of Skyrim to remember this is nothing new. It's very likely they'll patch pretty much all of it, in the meantime let's try to stay calm :P
Instead they not only left all of the previous bugs in place, they added a litany off new ones, making half of the playstyles unplayable and the overall experience a glitchy mess.
