Every questline short of the mages guild is better in Oblivion..even the main quest ended ridiculously Oblivion
Skyrim took itself too seriously at times
Never played Daggerfall, but I hear from people it's pretty epic, too.
Just better cheekier writing
Skyrim NPCs have the schedule system just like Oblivion. They basically took Oblivions system when developing Skyrim and expanded it.
There is the goblin war. I walked in on two of them fighting.
Perfection
Far better then a fancy empty box and where you have to buy the missing pieces for full price again. And as bonus you get dreaded drm shipped with it.
You clearly haven't enjoyed the days when games were still games, full games that is.
