Oblivion Remastered is so good
Oblivion Remastered is just way better than Skyrim. Skyrim's cool and all, but Oblivion just has more personality. The world feels more alive, the quests are more creative, and the characters don’t all sound like they’re reading off a script. It’s like Oblivion is a fully loaded luxury car and Skyrim is the same brand, just a newer model that feels kind of empty inside. They’re both still in a different league compared to most games though. Most others out there are like Honda Civics and nothing wrong with them, just basic. Oblivion and Skyrim still ride smoother, look better, and actually make you want to stay in the world longer.

I disagree with your point about the world being alive. Without radiant AI there is almost nothing happening if you decide to wander the overworld from town to town. You might run into a bear or a wolf but that's about it. The various random encounters in Skyim were more interesting as they could be a wide variety of scenarios - they weren't just enemies to kill.
I agree OP..

Every questline short of the mages guild is better in Oblivion..even the main quest ended ridiculously Oblivion

Skyrim took itself too seriously at times

I get what you’re saying, but I still think Oblivion feels more alive. Yeah, Skyrim has more random stuff on the road, like a thief or a hunter or whatever. But most of those feel kinda empty, like they show up, say one line, and disappear. In Oblivion, the NPCs actually have routines, they go to sleep, eat, talk to each other and sometimes it even gets awkward sometimes, it still feels like they’re part of the world. Plus, the towns in Oblivion have more variety in how they look and feel. In Skyrim, everything's kinda cold and gray. Oblivion might not throw as many surprises at you on the road, but the world itself just has more personality.

Skyrim was hyped to be "next gen" and was too serious for its own good. While a good game, Oblivion is great, and Morrowind is a gd masterpiece.

Never played Daggerfall, but I hear from people it's pretty epic, too.
Oblivion also has WAY better one liners...then I took an arrow to the knee was stupid..I prefer I don't know you and I don't care to know you...

Just better cheekier writing

Skyrim NPCs have the schedule system just like Oblivion. They basically took Oblivions system when developing Skyrim and expanded it.

Morrowind rules them all and that without a remaster.

It's not outdated. It's a preference. 5th ediition DnD is alive and well and Baldurs Gate 3 won GOTY in 2023.

Far better then a fancy empty box and where you have to buy the missing pieces for full price again. And as bonus you get dreaded drm shipped with it.
You clearly haven't enjoyed the days when games were still games, full games that is.

I totally agree, Oblivion is so much more fun than skyrim, the writing is a lot better and funnier, Skyrim tone is too serious and the quests look just like an excuse for you to grind levels/skills. On oblivion the quests are more interesting and the characters more fleshed out.
The voice actors in oblivion were absolutely just reading off a script. They had the voice actors do all the lines in alphabetical order of all things
