Reproducible crash after drinking Hist Sap

Not just a fluke - 100% reproducible every time. I drink the sap, get loaded into the new area, and after the first voice line the game does a GPU crash.

In general, the game crashes something like once per 4 hours of gameplay at random moments, but this one is fully deterministic. Removing all mods and verifying files doesn't help.

The driver is 572.83 Studio version. Can't use Game Ready because they tend to crash Blender. Also can't use 576.02 (latest Studio) because it's got a temperature report bug.

reddit gave me a solution for my problem i had to many items in my inventory, so i stored a lot of my items and the hist sap appeared when i did the mission

I understand why burning Hist Trees is ultimately for the greater good of the world.

I had the same issue. I fixed it by turning my graphics settings to low, turning off dlss and dlss framegen.
