Question about a certain MOD...
Hi everyone,

Just wondering if there's a mod that fixes the absolutely immersion breaking item scaling on NPCs. I am referring to all NPCs having access to expensive elven, dwarven, etc. items.

I always hated this about Oblivion and in the old days I would honestly avoid lvling up due to this. In the remaster I reached lvl 10 and this started happening already.

Do you know of anything that fixes this?

All the relevant mods here by PushTheWinButton is the way to go imo: https://www.nexusmods.com/games/oblivionremastered/mods?author=Push

These are very vanilla-friendly takes on the problems and he spent years perfecting them precisely to be completely balanced and in the spirit of the game. The same modder's Through the Valleys modding guide for OG Oblivion *is* my vanilla version of the game, I wouldn't dream playing Oblivion without his core mods, it is hard to put into words how much better the game becomes - all the loot and its placement now makes sense and the same with NPCs in the game and their stats or gear.

Bandit can't get better gear? Werid When I play I found or buy better armor like regular NPC do.

Ennemy gonna have better gear was game progress like 90% of RPG out there, Just mod out the game at this point.
It doesn't worry me they are a great source of gear and money.
Supposedly, ascension balances enemy armor type limit with more expensive loot in boss chests and enchanted loot is more valuable. So you will be selling those instead of dropping things to carry heavy dwarven and orcish armor.

In vanilla Oblivion the placement of loot makes no sense whatsoever, but in Ascension the best loot is placed deepest in the dungeons, where it is also the most protected, since Ascension also makes sure that the toughest enemies spawn in those locations instead of like in vanilla, where, again, there is really no sense to it. Basically, the loot is not levelled, but simply harder to get the better it is, with some enemies appearing in packs, for example, where they earlier would appear alone, it really is well-balanced. I am 400 hours into a character with Ascension in OG Oblivion and the associated mods and it still makes sense, he truly did spend a long time getting this right.

Packs of enemies? The only pack I've seen in vanilla is at hackdirt. I need a follower mod.
