Lockpicking kinda sucks

i would recommend left clicking instead or just spam moving the lockpick up to see how fast the lock moves, then let it drop and do it again as many times until you see it slow down, makes lockpicking super easy.

Get the Skeleton Key asap. Can do the mission at level 10.

Wait for it to raise slowly...tap it a few times and it will either raise quick or slow...only hit space when it goes slow

just wait when its slow, not only that, once security level is hight its gettin even easyer, skeleton key....i can only laught at those that need it

I wait until it's slow and go through them to see which ones to do next but they break a lot even when doing so. And half the time I can do a quick one that will lock in place while a slow one breaks after hitting space at the top. It's almost like there's no consistency.

they removed the audio cue from the original but when the tumbler moves slower it is easier to set it

It take time to get used or just use magic to unlock like me.

I don't mind it but it takes a bit to get used to and gets tiresome after a long playthrough. There is an exploit to level up lockpicking really fast, set one pin in place then keep the pick under that same pin and mash enter on your keyboard. It's fast enough that I would guess you can get security 0-100 in around 10 mins or so. I started abusing this glitch around secruity level 40 and got to 100 in about 5 mins. That or just get the Skelton key and mash auto attempt

I just auto unlock it if I get too annoyed. Lockpicks are pretty easy to find in the world. Or an unlock spell.
