DArk fissure altars not working in remaster?

Edit: Visuals over the rituals weren't showing. Solution: Just wait till midnight, zap with soul trap, check altar if it worked if not go next night and just try it.

Was only Empty grand gems that worked in OG, So i stuck to that and mine worked,

yeah I waited an ingame month, I tried first 8 days just at midnight going day by day waiting, then another 8 waiting until 11pm practicing magic unitl 12:10 to make sure I wouldn't miss it and then random ass times to try

yeah I waited an ingame month, I tried first 8 days just at midnight going day by day waiting, then another 8 waiting until 11pm practicing magic unitl 12:10 to make sure I wouldn't miss it and then random ass times to try

the light isnt so visable if your close to it, best way is to wait 24 hrs and try it as you might not see the light , try it each day until it works , Worked for me that way, but luckily for me was only 2 waits .

So put in a empty grand gem and zap the alter with soul trap on the right day :)

you know that makes sense. I'll just zap it every night until I have it if the visual isn't appearing. Thank you for your suggestion, giving it a try now

2nd night of trying, success. There is still no visual, so I was about to waste a lot of time tonight trying again until I stopped and remembered this thread I opened. Thank you!

it's not a multiple of 8, it's every 8 OTHER days.

meaning day 1 it would have happened, and then day 9, then day 17 and so on.

it is not a multiple of 8, that is why people are messing it up lmao.

so to clarify for those who don't like to read a few sentences:

it is not a "multiple" of 8 days, it is every OTHER 8 days, meaning day 1, day 9, day 17, and so on.

simply use a calculator and hit 1+8 and continue to hit enter until you're at a number just passed the current day you're on in your journal.
