First off - I love your avatar. Yeah the problem with this game is the immersion can also be its downfall lol. I cannot lie, I'm having fun trying to find NPCs and realizing they all have their own schedules, bugged it may be. I had no idea she was tied with the Sanguine Prince, I may have to prioritize that.
Yikes, the land dreughs remind me of those nasty things that hang out by lakes in Fallout New Vegas lol. Is she bugged out in your current save? I want to play more, but this game bluescreened my game last night so I have to prowl the forums for fun stories now. What are your favorite parts about the remaster? I enjoy the visual rehauls but on my 13 year old rig its pretty rough, I also miss the green / blue hue on everything for some reason.
Astute response. I agree with everything you said. There's some touch ups that modders will fix. The bloom feature was/is a relic for sure. Thanks for helping me remember the Mirelurks, yes lol. I spent about an hour in the character creator on my Argonian for that reason, everything is just unpotatoed so it feels nice. I honestly have no regret for buying it full price, I just need better hardware. Streamers, my brother, and other people are using 4x/5x series (or radeon) cards and I simply haven't kept up since 2014. Unfortunately everything is so expensive now - building a custom is going to cost $2K+ in my opinion. Or I buy a $1.5k prebuilt and hope it doesn't get destroyed in the mail.
I never messed around with Radeon cards (my first gaming laptop in 2011 used ATI/Radeon drivers and it was a mess) but I may look into it. I spent $595 on EVGA 1080 FTW2 in 2017? Interesting how a niche hobby became super expensive lol. I remember having birthday money to build a new rig and now I'm going to need a small loan. I give Bethesda props - they have always propelled me to update my rig because I love their games and open world stuff. What are your specs / average FPS open world or indoors?
