My Horse Suddenly Turned Super Sonic?
It actually is quite helpful but how and why the heck did my horse suddenly become so freaking fast? Like I'm assuming I bugged it out. It's not extreme speed but I think its at least 3-4 times faster than normal speed? Has anyone encountered this?

Make a target spell with speed and shoot your horse and watch how fast it goes

I would describe that as a feature, not a bug.

But if you'd like me to have a stab at an explanation... The speed of the player and most actors is determined by their height. Horses actually adjust their height to match that of the player's race. You're playing as a high elf, the tallest race. Your horses' height has probably adjusted to match, bugged out, and now rolls around at the speed of sound. If you've been switching your race using the console, that would be the prime suspect.

You haven't been to a wayshrine, but your horse got the blessing instead of your player character (which is possible)? EDIT (some more info): This will cure bad things with your horse as expected, but it also gives your horse a permanent +110 Speed, which is a nightmare going down slopes and so on, haha.

Horses can be a target for spells like anything can. A lot of different things can get caught in the crossfire, even shrines shoot out a spell that can miss you and hit something else.

I mean I played for like an hour or two now horse is still like that, if it was something momentary I wouldn't be talking about it.
Def a feature. lol But I suspect if you saved and reloaded your game would go back to normal.
