achievments not working after opening console command

Accidentally opened the console command while playing pressing the ~ key. pressed wasd keys then hit enter to close it. Now achievements not working as I progress. Anyway to reactivate them or do I have to restart a new character to get them back?

Achievements don't matter in this game. None of them give you additional abilities, stats, or items. Just play it and enjoy, or uninstall and move on with your life.

yep! have the same problem if finished the 10 first achievements and none is validated as done on steam list... going to use this linked MOD and if it works i will send a donation!

reopen the game and load the last save that doesn't have the crossed out trophy icon.

Not a bug. it's on purpose to not allow cheaters to get achivements.
Open and close does not remove the achivement ability, but type and send it does, even if it's not an accepted command.

You can use the mod that re-enables achievements, restart a new save or play without achivements.

95% of my saves from #8 up to #170 have the "broken trophy" ICON after 34H of gameplay since i bought oblivion remastered, without knowing about this mod... so i opened my last save # 178 i created this morning - which doesnt have the ICON and i re-saved it 5 seconds later before quitting the game, yet no Achievements appears unlocked on Steam... let me finish another new quest maybe it will unlock all the ones i finished prior... and even open the console and get myself 10K gold coins as a test! BRB

no sworry, didnt work... i even logged into an old save file that doesnt have the icon - save #7 (prior to the long list of trophy icons) and the game CRASHED lol ...so i relog into a save from this morning #178 that doesnt have the icon either, and it didnt crash but it didnt unlock my achuevements either over at Steam... i only have unlocked achievmement #1 - the escape sewers Quest. ohh well back to the game! thanks

I don't really mind that there is no added benefit it to them I just like seeing them pop up as a way to track progress on the first play through. But I'll just live without them. I just thought it was weird that even just hitting console command key and typing in gibberish on accident would lock you out even if its not an accepted command

at least yours was accidental mine was need to complete a quest and thin later to unstuck my self from a load in error that put my feet in the ground and made be have to tcl to get out of it

Opening the console on itself doesn't break achievements. You need to actually issue a command first.

Anyways, there are a few mods to re-enable achievements

thank U... i managed to trigger the dozen locked achievements i know i have concluded by typing in console command "AddAchievement #" so Steam updated my list and now i see other Achievements pop-up in game, telling me all it Synched now since installing the mod.
