What is the best looking armor you have found? I just got the heavy raiment of valor and I really don't like the look. The lower half isn't to bad although I would of liked it to have more of a metallic look instead of leather. The top graphic for it is just terrible it looks much to light. almost like it is some kind of gown or something. The enchantments are also pretty meh especially for something based on proving yourself in battle.

It is a crime against art what they did to the arena armor designs. Then again, the same can be said about pretty much any armor set in the Remastered. That's not only the case for the (almost non-existent) female armor variants, but the male ones, too.

If you got the Deluxe Edition upgrade then you may find the Order armor set interesting. Not loving the Cataclysm one, myself. Other than them, Saviour's Hide looks kind of nice with the new fur renderer.

I think the basic iron and steel armor looks good as does the chain mail and mithril. I haven't seen the dwarven yet other then a shield and a helmet. In general I am finding the helmets to be over sized. I have the bound helmet spell and it looks very funny alone, the head looks way to big for the body when I cast it. The Kvatch armor looks alright although I don't like the armored shoulder pad with the cloth body appearance.

but no Story-based armor are like

-Deadric Armor (lvl-based)

but for metallic lovers its the Steelarmor, early to get and always a good choice (maybe with the masque of clavicus vile

The remaster botched Orc and Daedric armor with their textures and lighting.

Best looking of Heavy is the Nine Armor, Steel Armor, Ebony Armor and Madness Armor.

Dwarven looks alright same with Iron.

For Light armor I've never liked them but Amber would be what I go for since the lighting on Glass looks messed up too.

For the newest stuff the Order armor over the Cataclysm armor.

one of my fav armors was Blackwood Company Armor, just found out its not Black in the remaster

It's based on/inspired by Gladiatorial championship raiment which was more ceremonial than functional, as they often fought in their bare necessities, even while wearing pauldrons and leggings and helmets. Think of it as the WWE title belt: nice for public appearances but wasn't designed to hold up your pants. Then again, WWE is about guys who don't wear pants fighting over a belt.
