Is there a place to report bugs?
I've tried using the Bethesda site, but in order to submit a support request, they require an email address but STUNNINGLY, don't provide a space to enter your email address.

The bugs in the game are 20 years old. They will not fix any of them, ever.
Sounds like they're saying 'we listen' while not listening.
So, all I can do is give the game a thumbs-down.

Your better bet is to report bugs to the mod team for the Unofficial Oblivion Remastered Patch. They actually encourage you to report bugs to them and they do fix them.

FYI using the Unofficial Patches is an absolute must for every TES game, if you don't have it already installed I highly recommend it. There are a ton of bugs that the original UOP fixed that are still present in the remaster. The new UORP fixes them again.

Post description of the bugs you encountered here in this thread. We can prob compile the list later. Someone said something about Bethesda and Virtuous reacting to complaints today. Hopefully they will at least fix some of the issues. If you want, search for bug report thread someone started few days ago and add bugs you dealt with there.

I trust The Unofficial Patch Project Team 10000% more to actually fix bugs. They've been doing this service for TES games for over two decades.

Well, you are not wrong there.

There seems to be 0 actual presence from microsoft or bethesda here which is really sad to see.

This whole place would been cleaned up, they would of listened, and we would of ALL gotten what we want, instead of just 1%.

Think about it, you paid 50 for a game that you could have bought the older version for $5 DRM free last week...and it still has the exact same bugs the old version had, with graphics the only "upgrade" for 50 USD.

And in exchange for those graphics you get a dull, ugly world completely devoid of the art style that made the original great.

Oh and way less mods.

well he ain't wrong in my eyes.. artists have an eye for art, and they tend to bring up criticisms like this in order to remove the rose tinted glasses everybody loves to wear so much. If they are wrong, then no one would reply, or they would be curious why they think it's wrong. Not insult them. Insulting them pretty much confirms their good taste in art.

This ain't an art critique thread, and it's a troll profile I've encountered before. So not trying to insult, genuinely asking to piss off. This is a bug thread.
The bug I encountered is that Sneak is bugged so that I am easily visible to anyone and everyone. At Sneak level 97, I cannot sneak, steal, stab, unlock or do anything because I am ALWAYS spotted. No, I am not wearing heavy armour. Nor am I wearing anything that increases my sneak level. Sneak just doesn't work any more.

I have the original version. Been playing since the original came out. But now I can play on my Steam Deck.
