EDIT: also you fast travel is optional you dont have to use it ever so if you dont like the feature dont use it or go to each city then start using it
if the option is there I'm going to use it.
glad it was just a simple console command and didn't need a mod.
The cities are marked, the rest is not, quests lead you to many many different caves, ruins, bandit hideouts et cetera.
And you know what i like to do most in Oblivion? Explore! I just run around with no quest, every five minutes a cave to check out, a ruin to plunder.
Because People have lives, Also it was ALWAYS like that in the beginning.
exploring is great if your say 10 but I DO NOT have much time left on this planet at say age 42 FFS think of adults kid.
It's almost like its something you have to willingly do, and OP is pissed off about it just existing. I know it's a crazy concept, but I wonder if they tried just... not fast traveling? lol.
Plenty of people do it, don't see what's stopping them.
The fact that its optional an no one forces you to fast travel is wild.
Sure you can take a silt strider, but before that nothing is marked, you mark them by going there, and the guy that made the thread talks about everything being marked.
