This game is surprisingly boring.
I thought it was going to be just as fun, or even more fun than Skyrim, but theres nothing really interesting or fun about this one. It just doesnt hook you at all. I wish I could refund still.

sounds like you don't like rpg games

If you don't like the game it's up to you but it really doesn't seem like you enjoy RPGs. The game has a lot of meat to it and it does well imo, again though you don't like it it's up to you.
I didn't like Skyrim...the entire map is on rails....This map gives you a giant field where you can go wherever the second you leave the sewers...They'll even let you fast travel to it...

Wait for the Skyblivion release later in 2025, hopefully combining the best of both Oblivion and Skyrim. It looks great so far! Then play it until Skywind comes out :)

Yea but the parts of the maps being separated by choke points is really what I don't like and In thought you could only ride to areas you already explored.

What chokepoints are you talking about? You could literally go anywhere, at any time, and do any quest, in whatever order you wanted. Nothing about that is on rails.

There is definitely skill checks across the maps..to the north of white run? The map is definitely more claustrophobic

The questing is VERY on rails compared to oblivion

Hard agree with you

skyrim is mid asf, story and guild quest are so bland lol in comparison to Obvilion

Skyrim has just minor gameplay evolution, that's it

And the openworld is just snow snow snow

Yea I’m kinda finding it boring just after 25 hrs but that’s probably because i played the hell out of the original and all the DLCs on Xbox back in the day.
I remember doing multiple playthroughs I was a good guy, bad guy, normal, completion est and multiple rolplays just goofing around looking for secrets. Im only board cause I know the secrets and whats gonna happen story wise so for a veteran Once you get over the new visuals and start noticing all the cut content and brown everywhere it becomes a bit Meh.

You can tell the feel of each game the second you leave the sewer/dungeon. Oblivion I was blown away....You turn around and see the imperial city and a field of trees as far as you can see and a dungeon. Skyrim you can't see ♥♥♥♥ but a hill and trees lol

There are just so many locations to be found in Oblivion - random huts or cluster of houses. Many of them are just a little bit mysterious, because are they just there for the sake of being there - or is there a quest tied to them? Some of these people are friendly, some of them outright rude. Another was reading a book about Darkest Darkness and sadly requested to be left alone in his hut, deep in the woods.

Little inns dotted all across the map, some of them have interesting names and lore. Many NPCs have at least a line of dialogue that is unique to them specifically, talking about their siblings, their shop or whatever - they comment on others in the area. They seem to have a schedule that they live by.

So many forts and ruins that you pass on your way to somewhere. I love the cities in Oblivion, these are sorely missed in Skyrim. The cities are very unique, from Anvil the sleepy porttown to the vineyards of Skingrad or the wooden huts in Bravil.

I haven't seen all of them in the remastered version yet, but wow. I wish Daggerfall got a graphical overhaul like Oblivion, because it's actually before my time. It would be so easy to play it if it looked as good as Oblivion remastered.

We can see so far into the distance, it's so cool to see Skingrad nestled within the moutnains during a sunrise - or to see Frostcrag Spire or Imperial City at the horizon.

I really like the guild quests, they seem to have put in some actual effort into it. I even found that the Ayleid ruins, so far, have a little bit more thought put into them than the Skyrim puzzles... which is a very a low bar, but still. At least it's not the kind of puzzle of three pictures that you can literally find on a claw - or on the image behind the turning stones.

It seems that the design was really well done and it's such a great idea to put us right outside the market district of the Imperial City. So many things were thought through carefully. Loved the ceiling at the Elder Council, btw - these graphic designers put their skills to work for real!

Theyre all boring. There is very little going on there and what is there is badly written.
The performance also sucks so badly. This game blows.
You can always go back to Call of Duty and Marvel Rivals, they need people like you to pay for cosmetics and battlepasses.
