Did they patch the game today or what?

I've played 40 hours in the last week without any problems, but today the game just doesn't want to work, it won't let me load any saves, and it freezes, it freezes after 5 minutes when starting a new game, and it freezes after 5 minutes even just on the title screen.

But nothing has changed on my PC and I don't install mods, so what's the problem? Did they patch the game yesterday, or is this an online game that can have bad patches and stop working for no reason? I don't even know what to do, I just can't even play the game I was playing before

Same here. No mods atm and the game worked perfectly until yesterday, even in the main menu I have heavy fps drops, 20fps ~ 120fps, it's crazy. But I don't know what the f*ck happened.

same with me, been like that since yesterday. reddit is full of these, game crash after load, etc. im 44h in never had one crash before yesterday. cant even load any save without freeze then crash.

Just created a new character and having freezing issues when doing the select a class after getting the amulet for the first time. First character has no problems being played on at all, just the new one.

Nvidia driver had an update yesterday. I still can't even load a game after installing update. Lots of folx having this Unreal Engine problem. I'm trying all the suggested fixes with no luck yet.

Did you try to downgrade to version 572.83?

The new driver has nothing to do with this game. Roll back.
