Deepscorn Hollow Cattle Cell Bug

I bought the Cattle Cell upgrade for Deepscorn Hollow, as I am a vampire and was hoping to stop having to sneak into houses to feed all the time. However, the captive is bugged and spawned awake, so I can't feed on him. Now every time I want to stop taking sun damage, instead of feeding in my lair, I have to go all the way over to Leyawiin and break into somebody's house like I'm some sort of vampire peasant. Does anybody know of a fix for this bug?

it's in the wiki listed as a bug from the original game.

i don't think there is a fix, go feed on the mages in the arcane university.
