WTF is wrong with Nvidia drivers?
So I downloaded the latest 576.28 drivers and they are piece of ♥♥♥♥. I couldn't even get to the game because it was freezing during loading, the previous drivers were awful too because they gave me slow shaders compiling and loadings every time I launched games (on RTX 3060 lol). I had to backup to 572.83 march drivers and got fast loads again
And I wanna ask a question: is nvidia making drivers by some ai slop that could work only on 50 series? I can't believe they work like ♥♥♥♥, it must have some explanation

There are solutions. But it would solve the driver's bug not the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine.

I dont think its the drivers...I did not update my driver because the newest one is just fixes for games i dont own....many players are reporting more crashes the longer they play...this suggests some kind of memory leak
Yeah this is me. I updated my drivers today and went to play, Now my game is locked to a tiny resolution for a reason that is beyond me that I can't change and even the menu runs like absolute crap. Thanks Nvidia

Try downloading nvidia drivers 572.83 that were released in march. These are the best for me atm

Ty for this mod, I guess I'll need to try it :D
The only fix for nvidia drivers is just to try downloading some of the previous ones that work better than latest. And yeah, UE5 is really terrible engine that only Hazelight knows how to deal with it (by not using nanites and lumen slop lol)

You may need to compile or preload the game's shader cache again. I don't know why it doesn't do this automatically or if/how it detects changes to the configuration (or maybe it's trying to in the background which is what causes the performance issues)

I'm sure there's a better way, but so far I've found that it will prompt the game to recompile shader cache the next time you launch it by removing Save_Settings.sav from C:\Users\%username%\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames. You would then of course need to configure game settings the way you like and accept the terms of service again, which is what makes me think that there must be a better way, but
performance did improve completely in my case after doing this.

I think my shader cache is set to 10 GB, but it was a driver issue because 572.83 works just fine and has fast loading. But thx anyway

Go ahead and get yourself a new potato. Running NVIDIA here. Zero Issues.

The problem is that newest nvidia drivers compile shaders too slow compared to 572.83. No matter what game you play, TLOU 2 with good shader compiling or something like Marvel Rivals, the drivers make it awful
I'm on 50 series, game running like crap, out of video memory message coming up on game launch. Did a fresh driver wipe and install and it's still the same. NGreedia strikes again!

oh, hello "Leave the multibillion dollar company alone", nice to meet you. Why tf do you think RTX 3060 with 12GB VRAM is a potato?
