Remastered, no contest.

gotta agree. remastered, no contest. looks infinitely better, plays better, and has quality of life features we expect from games nowadays (like a sprint button).

remastered - if it didnt crash so much...plus...if you already own the original *shrug* the remaster is pretty much just a reskin imo what was broken in the original is still broken *edit* this should have been a dlc total mod for 1/5 of what it cost

Remastered, easy. The best I can say regarding the original is that it has almost two decades of mods going for it, but it's way more unstable than the remake.

Let's see if you still feel that way after 20+ hours and it crashes every time you go through a transition...mine crashes CONSTANTLY since joining Theives Guild
Definitely the remastered version. I just started playing it yesterday, but already I can see the huge difference in how it looks and sounds. Lots of things got polished up. In the old version you would of had to use 30 different reshade and performance mods just to get half of what you see in the remaster. Paying $50 for a 20 year old game that I already owned is fine cause it just looks and plays so much better.
Original has some interesting mods that's been building for decades but it's incredibly unstable.
Remastered has improvements over the Original combat-wise and already has a ton of mods available that revert unwelcomed changes with a plethora of new mods coming in, it's definitely more exciting.
There are things I miss from the original, though, like 3-eyed Trolls and the Blackwood armour set being more distinct than the Steel armour.

The remastered version is just better.

heh. just look at the nvidia drivers thread blowing up....yeah game is super stable. "only" twice is amusing...but maybe its specific things causing the crashes...bet you didnt join thieves guild or try the Mystic Dawn quest line?

Edit - Also idgaf about your nvidia rant.

no you just posted a generalised comment that it was way more stable than the original. Do standup
The old version has like a 95% popularity rating at $15, this one is barely staying about 80%. If you haven't played either I would just get the old version.
