Should this game really be verified on steam deck?
As title says I'm asking cause this game is barely playable on steam deck. Seems odd to be "Verified" instead of "Playable"

Not even how it looks just how it runs. It runs awful in my experience. Far away from an "verified" experience to me. Maybe in an year if they add fixes + opitization to the game, for now it's just unplayable to me.

I play on Deck on the medium setting. It runs fine for my tastes. One crash in 80+ hours.

Is there any tweaks you made? I have my settings at all very low and get a shakey 30 fps. I've also heard there's some weird performance issues with the game so I could just try reinstalling it.

60 fps stables on my ROG ALLY Z1 EXTREME (16GB memory)...

" you got only 10 GB memory, it needs 16... expect crashes.. ", but i never crashed since on SSD...

got 10gb ram + 6gb video memory shared on this Rog Ally, Rog Ally X has 24gb total...

PS: it's same processor Steam Deck or ROG Ally.

Why splurge on a steamdeck when there's cheaper, more powerful options on a desktop.

I ain't got a Rog Ally Extreme. I'm talking about the Verified label that's for the Steam Deck specifically.

I have a desktop and play Oblivion on it. Just love playing single player games in my bed (I've beat a ton of singleplayer games I won't have usually through doing this.) It's just so much more relaxing.

pb of SteamOS (LinuX) i think you can't play games protected by EASY ANTI-CHEAT etc..

I ain't got a Rog Ally Extreme. I'm talking about the Verified label that's for the Steam Deck specifically.

Sry but as i said, both consoles wear same AMD unit, so try lowering your resolution to 720p first, then use FSR max performances, and frame generation.

Will be better.

My main PC runs linux too and it's fine. Since it's a Singleplayer game it doesn't have EAC.

the only game you can't play, 1-10 fps, is Star Citizen... on gaming consoles...

before patch 4 i runned it but 10 fps is bad... now it crashes.

> it 's just to say SteamDeck (or ROG Ally) are good enough. But you got to lower resolution to 900p or 720p here for Oblivion.
