the original would crash upon actions like this as well, and it's due to how fast certain things are happening.
to prevent it in the original, always make sure you're doing whatever it is that's causing the crash in a stable state.
such as waiting for a save to actually finish before opening up the alchemy menu, not trying to mash buttons too fast and things like that.
I am very aware of that when using alchemy I wait for the flash before I hit the brew button again. If I do feel like I am clicking to fast I will actually close that menu down entirely then relaunch it. I still get the most crashes when doing alchemy I think it is just glitchy.
while i haven't been having the issue, i do know it can happen and fingers crossed it doesn't in the future for me.
but yeah it's just very prone to not liking your inputs in certain situations like this.
for instance: while i haven't had this crash, i have had two others.
first crash i had was from me altering the graphics settings in game too many times.
second crash was when i was opening a door, (a regular one not one that lead to an interior or exterior,) just activating it made the game insta close with no error report.
so yeah, it's prone to crashing, i just haven't had anything other than those first two.
