why is the beast of burden spell only doing 73 feather when its suppose to be 250? (it says in active effects) it seems to change amounts depending on what armpur equipped the less i have equipped the more the spell gives me, i also had a carry weight of 1000 before fine and now its being weird help?

Oblivion has reduced spell effectiveness when wearing armor depending on how much armor you're wearing and your armor skills. The highest you can get it is 95% when you are level fifty in the armor type you're wearing. Go to the magic page and look at the bottom of your character and it'll show you what yours is at.

thanks says 95% for some reason my beast of burden spell gives me less or more carry weight depending on how high my carry weight it seems, when i equip the spectre ring +100 feather, -10str i lose weight where earlier it use to get me home giving me an extra 100 weight my strength is 100 idk why its just started doing this
figured it out, feather spell wasnt working because i had nothing in my inventory if i had stuff it works more makes sense
feather doesn't work as you would expect it works in this game. If I have a not full inventory and equip the gray cowl, my weight only goes up like an extra 50, but at the same time, the weight of the stuff I have cuts in half, if I equip the cowl when im overburdened, then weight goes up like 150. It's weird.
