Leveling
What are you guys doing to slow down your leveling other than playing an insomniac? This is my 3rd character and even sabotaging his Major skills he is ready for level 4 after 2 quests, a cave and an Aeylid Ruin.

I invest always into luck.
Then again at LVL25 right now, the strength of my char is on 100 already. :/
Just insomniac and leveling when I feel like I've accomplished a good amount.

Really making it hard to enjoy at the moment :(

Yeah that is something I started to do. Go suboptimal on my attribute gains. So the highest investment would be Luck, Speed or Personality and then whatever else gets the 4 or 3 points.

Yeah I am having more fun planning a leveling road map then playing the actual game. So I am going to try and complete an armor set before leveling to unlock the next set of gear. Which is kind of nice because two of the ugliest sets (in this version) Orc and Daedric mean I can do the Order quest at lvl 10 for Order armor and then go to Shivering Isles at lvl 20 for Madness armor.
I haven't been doing anything, running and jumping everywhere, sleeping all the time, currently level 15, agility is already 100, my 2 other main skills are in the 90s, im on the last quest of the main story line, ive done the thieves guild quests and knights of the nine and now im doing shivering isles. I don't feel over or underpowered. It's more fun just playing the game instead of worrying about it.

Melee build by chance?

Melee seems fine for leveling "slowly" (although I heard there's a bug causing all melee weapons and maybe bows to do half their intended damage atm)

Problem is you can be 20+ with most builds before you've even done 10% of the games content. Going through the other 90 or less % in end game gear and attributes is....kinda boring and gives no sense of real progression for the majority of your play through. And skipping entire armor sets and enemy variety because you ran around, did some alchemy, sold some stuff, and socialized with the locals is.....bad.

playing a stealth archer, sneak attack is broken on bows, but not melee weapons that I'm aware of, I'm still 2-3 shotting most enemies.
Mods. Playing this game without is just foolish. ;p

Putting alchemy gear always on top, grouping potions, open local map by default, M to close map, I didn't buy this game till I was certain I know (more then simple skin) mods would be possible.l

Stealth without poison seems like it would level slower. I took majors that caused me to level 2-3 times in a single cave dive.

I pick all the magic schools as main skills and than play as Sneaking Archer with Lockpicking, Alchemy and Armourer.
The secondary skill now effect your levelling but it is slower than the primary ones.
But saying that. I am 11h in and already lvl 7. Closing to 8.

Yeah I've learned a lot about creating an anti-class so I can enjoy the level breaks the game has.

The maintenance skills can really spiral your level out of control.
