WE NEED MORE/BETTER ACHIEVEMENTS!
Now we pretty much only have guild rank up achievements, aside from the main quest ones.

It would be really cool if you guys added more achievements like for example:
-Buy a house (house owner)
-Buy all houses in Cyrodiil (property tycoon)
-Kill 100 Vampires (vampire hunter)
-Successfully lockpick 100 doors (master lockpicker)
-Buy black horse for 5000 coins (Fastest horse of Cyrodill!)
-Earn/accumulate 100000 coins (gold hoarder)
-Close 10 gates of Oblivion (gatekeeper)
-Help this "x" at this "x" (random one)
-Donate coins to 100 different beggars (helper to the poor)
-Become a vampire and cure yourself (Dean Winchester, iykyk)
-Obtain a castle (Lord, castle owner)
-Knights of the Nine DLC

etc. etc. you get the point, it would be really cool to have some diverse achievements and not just rank up ones, the achievement segment of the game feels very lazily made, the game as big as it is deserves way more achievements.

OP would've had more credibility if he had unlocked more achievements.
4 guild, shivering isles, main quest: plenty to do.

I agree with this post. Nothing wrong with some character in the achievements besides game stages.

What a random thing to argue against, and to use your perceived "credibility" of him like that is pulling at straws.

I like the idea of having achievements like that. Little things to work towards while making your way through the game. Adds extra drive and purpose to randomly exploring and for 100%-ing the game.

+1

so you just want more head pats and "good boys" for doing the bare minimum of enjoying the game? why not have personal motivation instead of being driven by artificial goals that do very little in showing you what the game truly has to offer

Potion lover - create 500 potions
foodie - eat 1000 ingridiens
better with friends - close 5 oblivion gates with one or more companions
Fire-Dancer - swim in lava for 5 seconds and survive
Better save than sorry - use as an Argonier waterbreath spell or enchanted item with water breath
Sweet Moon - do skooma as a Kahjiit
Your home? MY HOME - break in 30 Houses

hot grave - "drown/Die" in lava

Ehh, I already got 100% achievements, and I was only doing guild stuff on my first playthrough anyway. While there could be more.. intricate achievements, these are fine. Let's just be glad we got achievements.

Most folks don't play games for achievements anyway.

nah

Yeah. I noticed how bad the achievements were too. Looks like something they asked Bob from Accounting to do. It's a literal game progress checklist. And not a good one at that.

Doesn't even promote exploration.

You know, I take it back. This was not Bob. It was Eugene from Legal.

Why do you need achievements at all? You need acknowledgement that badly?

why not? no one have to do achievements. but its always a way to implimend some stupid stuff in a game and the player can find it

You need pats on the head for performing everything? These are the same achievements from the original game

So make some up. You seriously need other people to tell you what to do in a video game?
