Or the folder is missing?
So I have games installed to a second drive, and I haven't been using Steam much - I'm just learning the ins/outs of where bits are, etc. On D:\ I have:
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\
There is no folder underneath there labelled "Saved"
Would you be able to tell me a naming schema of what I should be looking for and I can search both drives to see if I come up with anything in another location?
Actually, I think I'm a bit of a nit. Simple Google and I realized I could download files directly from the Steam Cloud - https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorageapp/?appid=2623190 -- I see files/data in there.
Weird that the game doesn't synchronise between the two automatically?
apparently cloud saves don't work for this game
C:\Users\Seán\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved
And there is data in there, including \Saved\SavedGames
So, back to square one and googling I go
Ahh, good to know!
I think I stumbled on the active thread you were thinking about. I can confirm that there are different sets of game data in these two locations:
C:\Users\Seán\OneDrive\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames
vs
C:\Users\Seán\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\SaveGames
This is exactly my problem.
good luck fixing it
I do computer IT/Programming for a living, and figuring out how to remove OneDrive and the OneDrive folder from my computers was a headache. I feel bad for others who want it removed.
