Its sad that this game makes you miserable and lose when you become a vampire.
You should actually be more powerful and have more advantages than disadvantages.
And getting rid of being one is also so damn annoying.
Mostly it would make sense if you just kill the main vampire in your region. But nuh u have to gather some stupid stones.

I started Morrowind on the og xbox, 1st ever real rpg for me, press 'Y'/ triangle for jump?! Instantly hated it, but i had an itch to try it again, started my own character and died to a mudcrab 10/10 never looked back.

That's more of a muscle memory issue. If you weren't used to the controller of course you'd have a hard time playing. I wouldn't blame Morrowwind for that one.

Yeah I remember playing the original Oblivion and waking up to find being a vampire lol. Was not happy.

You learn to check your magical effects for any diseases or other nasty surprises, after every dungeon. Easy to miss the notification in the middle of combat or looting, and easy to forget to check.

There's plenty of ways to cure disease, so long as you catch it before it has a permanent effect. Catching it is the key though. I feel for you.

That said you could back up your saved game and see where it all leads; the journey can often lead to unexpected fun times.

How come when u feed on someone as a vampire u become Encumbered? TY

When you've not fed as a vampire, your vampiric attributes are increased (there are 5 tiers of stat increases), when you feed, your vampiric attributes lower as your thirst is satiated.
1st tier gives 5 attribute points to all attributes, 2nd tier 5 more (10 total) and so on until you get 25 on 5th tier, so if you've fed while you have 25 str, it will be lowered back to 5 which means your carry cap is also lowered.

oh ty. I am in a bit of a pickle. I am a vampires but i am trying to get into the thieves guild and i need to talk to the beggars to find out where the quest guys diary is but no1 will talk to me because i am a vampire!!! pretty brutal.. says i got beaten to the diary and i can steal it off the lady but i got no idea where she is

Just get inside somewhere and wait a few days until you start to get more stacks of the vampiric attributes, IIRC it takes about 5 days of not feeding to max it out.

Broooooo you need hard saves. Before/after every single mission. Multiple hard saves. Morrowind taught me this the hard way when I tried to fight Umbra as a lvl 2 and he chased me to the edge of the map. Lesson learned.

well to me you only have two options, wait 72 hours and have some stats boosted and some really additional casting skills like invis and such but can not talk to basically ANYONE.
Which is a huge downside in an Bethesda Video game where you basically 90% of time spend with TALKING to other NPCs.
Or you drink up and have nearly none of those stat boosts but can talk to everyone and run in sunlight.
