Green dots/pixels on the edge of the screen
I'm having this weird issue where sometimes, when I'm moving my camera, particularly through dark environments or dark objects/buildings in the screen, I get these little green flashing dots on the left side of my screen. I've described the issue with more details on this reddit post, and here's a video[imgur.com] on Imgur illustrating the issue (look at the lamp post and when it passes through the edge of the screen).

Any one knows of a way to fix it? It seems its impacted by the AA method, it gets less apparent with TSR (instead of FSR native, which is the one I'm using. Disabling AA entirely makes it significantly worse and more noticeable). I'm running it on an RX 7800 XT (Nitro+ version from Sapphire, little bit of factory overclock).

I don't think its GPU artifacting because my GPU is less than a year old, and the only other game where I noticed something similar was Expedition 33, which also runs on UE5. Other non-UE5 games are fine, I couldn't reproduce the issue despite trying for several minutes. I'm also already using the latest drivers, 25.4.1. Temps are also fine.

that's just upscaling artifacting like it does. nothing out of the ordinary

Why do they appear to me though, if I'm running it natively? Same thing if I disable AA completely (it gets worse).

I think I would be concerned that my gpu was starting to have issues. Especially considering you've only seen it on 2 newly released games. Do you have an older UE5 game you can load up and test?

None that's installed, but I just looked up the issue and found a reddit thread with several users reporting the exact same thing (here: https://www.reddit.com/r/ElderScrolls/comments/1k5ninj/oblivian_remaster_green_and_red_artifacts_at_the/, look at the comments).

Apparently it might be related to reflections, mine are set to high, when I turned it down to medium, the issue seems to have disappeared (I haven't tested extensively though because its getting late here). Some people are also saying that changing the DLSS quality affects it, but I don't have an NVidia card so I don't know, and I'm running it natively.

But anyway, yeah, my GPU is good, its just this weird ass engine.

If it makes you feel any better. I noticed it like 5 minutes ago. I googled it and found this. Didn’t know if it was my reshade or was some graphic settings. lol

Yeah I'm finding other reports as well, at least its not our GPUs frying haha, we're good. Hope they patch this soon.
Glad I'm not the only one. Just got a 9070, so I was worried my card was no good. I noticed this a few days ago during early dawn hours in game in Leyawiin. Can confirm that it goes away when turning FSR upscaling off.
