Do commands disable achievements?
Used a command to disable a bugged door in Miscarand because it didn't open despite picking up the Grand Weyland Stone.

Realised that it might be a problem and searched online and people are saying is DOES disable achievements permanently for that character. Is this true?

Will loading a previous save with the character re-enable them? Will relaunching the game make the current save fine? How does it work?

it literally tells you when you open the console that it disables achievements.

It disables them, the save file is forever flagged. There's a mod on modnexus that you can install that bypasses this.
You can get a mod that enables achievements and allows you to also use the console.

Wait, so even previous saves?

Politeness costs nothing...

Maybe I didn't see it? Also it doesn't go into specifics at all, now I am hearing the save is forever flagged, which is different to other ES games.
Yes, you have to start a new game or get the mod.

Can I load a save before I used the command? Does that work?

If I get the UnlockedAchievements mod to fix this, will it break if the game gets patched? Will I need to micromanage it do you know?
