Crashing every 20-30 minutes on a RTX 3080
The game is crashing every 20-30 minutes on a RTX 3080.

- I have not used any mods.
- I double checked and the NVIDIA driver is updated.
- I verified the integrity of the game files.
- I NEVER crash in games. This is very unusual.
- I lowered the settings to Low & Medium and it is still crashing.
- RTX 3080 Founders Edition
- Intel i7 12th Gen
- Ram 32 GB
- I have 4 SSD's on this PC. The one Oblivion is downloaded into still has 300 GB of free memory after Oblivion was installed.

Disable all 4 auto saves options
I have a Ryzen 9 with 32 GB and RTX 3080 with 10 GB. I get an occasional crash running with settings set to High but it doesn't seem to be related to autosave activity. To be safe, though, I save often and restart the game after finishing a quest, just in case there is a memory leak.

I have the settings set to low. I never use low on any game and I never have crashes. I don't think it has to do with graphical settings nor auto saves. It is something else.

Updating BIOS is the only thing that helped me
Same cpu and gpu. No crashes here. However, after exiting the sewers, i did this almost immediately for other reasons

Don't want to give you hope, but maybe it might help you.
Oh, one more thing. Check your event viewer for errors at the time of the crash.
I have an Intel 12700k and Rtx 3080. I found that my typical MSI Afterburner undervolt was crashing my game consistently. Bear in mind that this undervolt works with Last of Us, etc. I recent my tune to stock and while there are some crashes, it's far more stable.
I had one CTD and one infinite loading screen while entering a Cave, other then that it is running well on my 3080 10GB.
The rest of my Rig is 9 Years Old.:skullb:
Edit:
i7-5820K
32GB DDR4
Asus 99X Pro
PCE 3.0 Nvme2 SSD 1TB (Actually not 9 Years old)

I know not not really a help, just wanted to leave some Feedback.

Lol, same here:
13700 with 3080Ti, 32GB DDR5.
It keeps crashing, while I can play only for 30-60 minutes. Right now I just can't leave Cloud Ruler Temple, because sometimes it's crahes right after loading save -_-
