Blessings and Knights of the Nine quest bugged - no effects apply

Hi, I'm playing the official Steam version of *Oblivion Remastered* and I seem to have encountered a major bug related to blessings and the Knights of the Nine questline.

No blessings from any chapel altar are being applied to my character. The animation and message appear ("Your sins have been forgiven", etc.), but no active effect is added, and quests requiring blessings do not proceed correctly.

For example, in "Stendarr's Mercy", I receive the message from the altar ("Your suffering is ended"), but no blessing is added to my character, and talking to Kellen doesn't progress the quest.

This happens across all characters and save files, and even after restarting the game. It seems like a global script error.

I understand that mods like the Unofficial Patch are not currently supported in Remastered, so I'm unable to fix this myself.

Please look into this issue — this bug completely blocks progression in the entire DLC.

After praying at the altar of Stendarr you are given a spell. Go into magic and go to the "Touch" magic tab. There you should see the spell called "Lay Hands". Have fun with the quest :)
