Badly optimized game?
32 - 50 FPS with a 5070? My computer is like 3 - 5 times better then the RECOMMENDED system requirements... Am I being scammed by Nvidia or the Game? :sefacepalm:

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

RECOMMENDED:
Requires a 64-bit processor and operating system
OS: Windows 10/11 (with updates)
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel Core i5-10600K
Memory: 32 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 6800XT or NVIDIA RTX 2080
DirectX: Version 12
Storage: 125 GB available space
Additional Notes: SSD Required; Performance scales with better hardware

There's a mod that uses DFAO and Lumen begone which looks waaay better than Begone by itself.

I wonder how this game eats 14G of VRAM but it runs 15FPS max outdoor

Not listing full specs, checks out.
no problem on my 3080 with r7 5800x above 90 fps with dlss quality on 1440p
Constant, and I mean constant traversal stutter exploring the world ... with a 9800X3D and a 5080 ... on a gen 4 M.2 SSD.

Ya, this game runs like dog water.

With that being said, 30-50fps ... thats user error. Adjust your settings.

"no problem" is a meaningless, anecdotal comment. You have the same traversal stutter as everyone else and the same poor performance considering the hardware you're using.

Runs bad with RT hardware Lumen on high or low don't matter outside. Software Lumen bigger increase in performance high settings. Ultra settings.

I can run Metro 1440p Ray tracing Ultra settings smooth frame rates. RTX 4080

OP what is your cpu and memory?
Honestly I think what happened on the developers side of things is they optimized it for the specs they were using at the time testing it and figured "Well if it's working for us then I'm sure it'll run for everyone else with a gaming rig just fine" and threw it out there 😂

You didn't list your specs OP or the settings you are running the game at. Which is usually a sign of unrealistic expectations. My guess is you upgraded your older PC with a 5070 and now expect the game to run at max. What are your other PCs specs? UE5 is cpu demanding which for one causes performance drops on underpowered PCs. And the other part is the 5070 is certainly not 5 times more powerful than a 2080

doom eternal 4k

2080 92fps
5070 125fps

https://www.techpowerup.com/review/asus-geforce-rtx-3090-strix-oc/15.html

it isn't even twice as fast, and if you look at the above reviews, the 5070 is actually a very middle of the pack gpu outperformed by many other upper mid range gpus, for example

4070ti super 152fps

So seems to me performance matches the money spent.

im getting 70-90p fps with RTX 2060 (6GB) thanks to Lumen Begone mod.

720 res, low settings, view distance on med, DLSS Balanced.

Yes you do.

Yes you do.

Everyone is not suffering stutters though, there are plenty of videos showing this.

Ryzen users seem to be suffering far worse than Intel users though from what I've seen.

Mad stutter like, performance related stutter I'm not talking about. I'm talking about tiny micro stutters ie; traversal stutter. You ahve it. Everyone has it. Oblivion Remaster has it bad.
