Massive pop in on load transitions
7800X3D 4080S, game is on an NVME Drive, 64gb of ram, 1440p native dlaa maxed with framegen.
Whenever I open a door into city exteriors or load a save i see a few seconds of horrible texture popping regardless of settings. I am not running out of vram and I really dont know how to fix it. I've seen people getting this out of the blue while exploring, mine seems to be caused on load transitions. On cities where you are constantly moving load spaces its extremely distracting.

Is anyone else experiencing this and or has found a fix?

Video Example, its particularly bad in the imperial city

Same here.
I fear that's what we get from an UE5-injection. :wellok:

It also happens upon fast travel. A few seconds after arrival, you can clearly see resources being loaded in.

I personally don't mind, but I understand why this can be considered a little immersion breaking.
They possibly could blackscreen and lock the game a little longer after a loading screen.

Even though that would be a lazy solution. XD

Yes that's what I get too.
maybe it has to do with slow ssd? or the compressed files? I use Oblivion Decompressed Records

pretty sure that's the shaders doin their thing, or the framegen scaling the resolution up

I've turned off frame gen to check if it helps.
But it wasn't the case.

Additionally I am using DLAA, which renders the game in native resolution.

However, if that's really the case then I may try out native.
Despite TAA looks awful. :(

Yes, they need to fix it, it is horrific. It is obvious to me this new company are not too experience, and Todd is lazy.

its part of loading and unloading cell objects which causes stutters. Hope the very first patch for steam fixes issues related to this and the obnoxious stuttering when loading new cells
Hey, I never experienced this before, or at least not on your scale until I downloaded OBSE64. Its honestly made this game unplayable for me. Do you have OBSE64 installed? If so, try uninstalling it. Tell me if that helps.
I vaguely recall the same thing happening with the original Oblivion, so it might have something to with how the game is programmed to load the environment.

I didnt have obs if you mean the broadcasting siftware. I literally dowloaded a portable zip of it to record this and then erased it

This new company?? I think you seriously need to look up who Virtuos is.. This isnt a lack of experience or a new company, this is a UE5 issue of low resolution textures to speed up loading screens that get replaced with higher res textures during game play. This is a delicate balance between mipmapping and texture streaming numbers.

A modder looked into this and discovered with slowmo that some cases trigger a reload of stuff that was already loaded. This might be a weird bug that can be corrected. Also, Virtuos is very very good at engineering so I have SOME faith in them
