Playable until i take the torch or rain? Fix?

The game runs ok for my 2060 and i got solid 60 fps most of the time. But when i carry the torch in outside areas or it starts to rain i got 5 fps. Any fix i can try? Already using custom engine.ini

It's probably lumen ray tracing with the torch. Not sure about the rain, I get frame drops when it rains even on a 5080, so I dont think thats just you.

There is a way to completely disable lumen ray tracing which you probably should, its causing a lot of issues for older GPU's. I think theres a mod for it too but you'd have to find out more online.

I believe ray-tracing is "baked-in" and cant be turned off completely even with mods. Though i'm not 100% sure, the use of the Unreal engine 5 causes this.

I'm thinking of upgrading from a 3090ti, how is the performance on a 5080 in 4K maxed out?
