For those having VRAM issues
Theres a mod on Nexus called "No More VRAM Leaks Crashes".

Its a ini tweak file, comes with 3-6gb downloadable ini files, but you can tweak the VRAM value `r.Streaming.PoolSize=6144` (thats the 6gb one) to anything you have. I did 1024x8 for the 8gb value so its `r.Streaming.PoolSize=8192'

Theres other tweaks in the ini, such as disabling raytraing and other heavy hitters.

It saved me from 30fps on Low to 80FPS on High.

Hope it works out fine for you all.

Note instead of doing the math just use a percentage instead for example. Below is 80%. I use 90% myself. So doesn't matter if you have a 6gb, 8gb, 12gb, 16gb you get the idea vram. It'll use whatever % you set for your vram. Try 100 if you like. Might be best to stay just under that though but well worth trying. Note game was using 6gb before i set the percentage now i'm using 14gb with my 16gb vram.

[SystemSettings] PoolSizeVRAMPercentage=80

This is the only thing that works for me. Havent tested much, but before this it was simply impossible to quicktravel more than once without the "UEEngine has crashed", now I quicktraveled 5 times, went through a whole cave, went to cities to sell things and so on, no crash.
And it seems to be what I always said, there is no PC problem or such thing, its just a simple vram overflow. This game still has some issues, sudden fps drops, Sometimes ugly graphics and slow fps and so on, its a mess at the moment, but I had no crashes with this mod, and before I had to try three or four times to load into the world map.

What are the other heavy hitters that won't dramatically change visuals?

Heres whats all going on in the ini. You can copy/paste into your Engine.ini at the bottom
[SystemSettings] r.TextureStreaming=1 r.Streaming.PoolSize=8192 r.Streaming.LimitPoolSizeToVRAM=1 r.Streaming.DefragDynamicBounds=1 [/script/engine.renderersettings] r.RayTracing=False r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.Allow=0 r.Lumen.Reflections.Allow=0 r.Lumen.HardwareRayTracing=0 r.ShaderPipelineCache.Enabled=1 r.ShaderPipelineCache.BatchTime=2 r.GPUCrashDebugging=1

(modify the r.Streaming.PoolSize to suit your GPU capibilities)

If you already have;
r.Streaming.PoolSize=8192
then no it won't. They do the exact same thing. But if you have 8gb vram 50% is 4gb vram. Not sure why you'd even try 50%. I was just trying to say, instead of figuring out the math instead use a percentage.

Hey, this works great, performance seems rock solid now. Textures are kinda blurry, but it seems to run great even on my ageing 2gb RTX960, with PoolSize=2048
