Still no update/patch for performance?
I'm seeing so many people with performance issues its crazy, i have friends on hardware just outside of the system requirements struggling to play the game at all. I have a friend on a 4090 who can hardly play the game in 1440p with a steady framerate. I know UE5 is the worst thing to happy to gaming since fortnite but id have thought we'd have seen an update by now for something. Even the PC gamespass version has had 2 updates for performance so far.

So far (20hrs) zero crashes, I've no idea about OC/UC, completely vanilla build and settings.
Latest drivers etc.

You just have to download one file and replace the original game version. It's incredibly easy and there are instructions on the main page.

Just remember to backup the original file as a precaution. (Create a new folder titled Engine ini Backup and move the original file into there instead of deleting it.)
I had this mod for awhile.. I deleted it yesterday and my performance is better without it.

I am using Oblivion Optimizer as well tho

don't get your hopes up UE5 performance doesn't get much better on ue5 games even 1 year after release with a multitude of fixes and performance patches. Start looking for work arounds & fixes yourself because relying on ue5 issues getting resolved is going to leave you with a truck load of disappointment.

I play with a 4060 and 32 gb of RAM. No stutters or crashes.


Some people are playing on minimal requirements or below it even. It's a mess on what consumers expect out of their PC.

But the original is still on the store to play.

Weird, I have 3 different machines including a 4090 and they all run fine. I keep it capped at 120fps, the 4090 does this with ease with full hardware RT on ultra. Your friend bolt a 4090 into a PC from 2008 or something?

Possibly try disabling DLSS as IIRC it can lock some of the sliders (for me it was resolution scale). Also once this is done change it to full screen as borderless window can lock the resolution aswell. Usually you can change it back after you have altered the resolution to your liking. Finally if nothing else works try resetting ALL graphics options and trying from scratch and/or validating files. Hope you sort it out, goodluck.

Soooo... i bought the Deluxe Edition but it is showing DLC as not purchased or not installed. Do i need to buy the DLC again or will it load in when i start the game?

i imagine you're fine i dont think this game lists all the individual DLC's like the original did. It's all tied to the deluxe edition or if you didnt buy the deluxe editions its tied to the Deluxe Edition Upgrade. i have the Deluxe edition too and i dont see DLC in the DLC section in my library i just see the game being listed as DLC.

DLC is a part of base version Remastered. It is not listed.
Deluxe just gives you some armor and maybe quests.

Yeah, i was wondering about the new stuff - apparently a new questline, few armor and weapon sets and horse armor (lel)
