Sooooo not the point...
No special characters in file names in Windows. This is the standard, not some malicious plot against you.
Hmm... well the IT person in me would say "double them up and try again" I guess. So instead of :
Butch "Tunnel Snake" DeLoria
Use :
Butch ""Tunnel Snake"" DeLoria
This is how you get around the same issue with single quotes while scripting usually anyway.
