Does raising a state over 100 make them better in Oblivion remastered?
For context, my unarmed state is 100 and I just found a ring that raises it by an additional 25 points, is it doing anything? Would I be better finding something that boosts strength or is it also capped?

I have raised both strenght and blade beyond 100, it seems like it is like in the original, where fortifying beyond 100 did not give you direct additonal boosts to your damage, the exception was fatigue, because damage was tied to it.

There are exceptions iirc, most notably speed

yes and no. for example exceeding 100 STR will severely impact the usage of melee weapons, meaning more repairs. as a veteran player i never push my characters/builds past level 15-20, most builds only need 100 in a single attribute. (i.e a mage would need 100 INT, a warrior could do 100 STR but 60-75 is ideal and a high END stat to complement it) i hope that makes sense

luck is a good skill dump if you have nothing to put points in

skills are where it's important, getting all your skills to 100 won't affect durability of items. what it will do obviously is make your character stronger and more proficient.
