Cannot leave Chorol (first town near Jauffre's estate)

Cant leave the town through any gate just get Unreal engine crash.
Any suggestions pleade.

(Edit: cant fast travel out of there either)

i mean, you got to chorrol somehow. so it worked up until that point, maybe try reducing your graphics to something more reasonable?

Can you fast travel out of Chorrol, or does that crash your game aswel?

I am reading other posts of game crashing when trying to leave Chorrol for other players must need a patch, cheers

I am running game on high and rt and lumen on low as It allows, thanks for replying.

Dam. I think im the only player with only one bug (cant complete a sidequest to free kvatch) but otherwise? no bugs or performance problems

Ok shutdown pc rebooted it started Steam started game managed to fast travel back to Jauffre's (thought it was going to crash as screen went black for 10 seconds) then saved shut down and will wait a few months for patches, so this and Stalker 2 can go on my play in 3 months list, thanks to those that answered.

Are you talking about the bug where the guy doesn't enter the the castle and keeps yelling to 'Clear the courtyard!'?

If so; you can just go into the building, go to far end (I believe its called the Coun'ts room), loot the corpse on the ground and return to the guy. The quest will continue as intended.

Try running a scan on steam to verify local files, may be caused by corruption in the cell or some asset the cell loads on exiting that town. I haven't had any issue leaving so can't do more to help other than tell you the issue is not universal.
