Does anyone know the max followers you can have at one time?

I’m planning on going to the gates with an army. I can think of 5 already( 2 guards at my castle, the maid at my castle lol, the fan and the frost summon from my mage house) any more?

I think character who only follow you for quest can be also a part of your 'party' and there is that one immortal horse you can get. she helped the player in the battle too
also you can summon creatures

Its not the same as skyrim followers, most are spawned creatures like Demo said or quest tagging along.

There is the annoying fan/knights of nine member who will.

You also get Martin and Jauffre as long as you don't go to Cloud ruler, and the Jemane brothers from Chorrol as long as you don't complete their quest to retake Weatherleah
I think Maglir from one quest of the Fighter's guild too, and another elf whose name I can't remember
