Are you using a bow?
Both dagger and bow. Dagger is consistent but the bow varies at random
Yeah, I've seen dozens of reports on this issue, many thinkning it's a THEM problem.
At this point it seems, for some unknown reason, the game thinks the bow is a two handed weapon.
Really lame.
Well the AI behaves exactly like OG oblivion. ive seen more posts and it seems like the damage multiplier for bows is bugged atm. no tips from me for more dmg, but id suggest getting transcendent stones from gates to get the good enchants
best way to use it is to have 100 sneak + enchantments for sneak
then, fortify sneak spell for +100 for a bit
then add chameleon enchantment/spell
on top of wearing light boots or none at all, heavy armor ruins stealth
At this point I'm waiting for an official patch from the team that rushed this cash grab out. Way too much broken ♥♥♥♥ to try and deal with, even for Bethesda this is a new low.
But it's an Elder Scrolls game, it's going to have bugs and that's just how it is. It doesn't bother me.
It should bother you.
Even the original release didn't have this many game or character breaking bugs.
I remember the original having a lot of bugs, can't say I've personally seen as many in the remaster. A few annoyances, the occasional game crash, but nothing that's stopped progress.
In the original I remember having quests get so broken that the only way to proceed was to reload an old save. Haven't had that happen to me in the remaster (yet).
