They figure out the Modding situation yet?
Title. Just curious- last i checked the "mods" were minor text edits. People figure out how to get UE5 to play well with the original engine yet?

Not sure what you mean by getting UE5 and creation kit to play well together; Virtuos already did that. It's running gamebryo/creation kit under the hood so OG oblivion modders are already re-releasing old esp type gameplay mods for the remaster, e.g., there's already a general loot overhaul mod (Ascension). Stuff that depended on OBSE doesn't work of course, but UE5 itself has good tooling for modders and there's already a prototype VR mod. It'll probably develop a good modding community.

Texture and mesh replacers are already a thing. External tools like bodyslide aren't closely tied to the engine, so it or something like it could work if someone wanted to put in the effort to generate whatever model format UE5 uses.

There are already tiddy mods for the spider daedra. Nature is healing.
Cool. When i checked last anything having to do with graphics was a no-go, and i was shown a "someone edited a single value of code" example showing me that "modding was possible" which was insulting. Was just curious- it would take years for the modding to get to the point where it would be a better option than original Oblivion modded- but i was wondering if it was going to be a total disaster or not. Thanks.

I don't know their full progress implementing things but there is already a script extender. And mods like "toggle khajiit night eye" are already a thing.
the script extender is bugged asf
I don't expect the super-duper cool overhaul mods to come out any time soon, but I do hope the POH mods get ported over eventually. There were some dope POH mods for Oblivion like Ancient Towers and a house on top of the White Tower
Player owned homes?
I don’t remember how vanilla oblivion did home ownership.
