Not able to sneak anymore.
Ran from a guard in the palace and now I can't finish the Ultimate Heist quest; seems I can't enter sneak mode again even without anyone in my presence? Any tips, or ~ commands to fix this? Thank you

well you aren't actually supposed to be spotted during that mission. - literally an enemy of the empire if so

lemme guess, it was after you had already finished the heist and you left that one room into the hallway that the gaurd patrols and instead of going back into the room and waiting for him to pass you just passed him and ran out the door lmao.

there's ways around these things.

for instance, earlier in the mission you would have noted the crumpled paper on the ground, and if you pay attention you can see the gaurd picking them up through the hallway.

one can actually use a crumpled piece of paper to distract the gaurd and move around him.

Fast travel away and spend the night as far away as you can get.
If you have a fine pay it off then wait another day to a week later before trying again.
Maybe even level up sneak at least once before trying again.
Incredible.

Any fix yet?

That's not the point though. Failure is an option and that's intended. It's a bug not to be able to sneak at all afterwards.

if you're being chased after agroing someone that's not a bug, you're just bad at getting away from them.

if your speed is too low then yeah you won't escape.

but if it's high enough, you can actually run away.

there's also other ways that have already been mentioned to remove the agro but for some reason they appear to be getting ignored.

my point is that trying to run away after being spotted wasn't the move, reloading a save was or getting arrested was.

one can also yeild in this game, crazy concept right?

block, then look at the person attacking you and activate them like you're talking to them.

The aggro not being leashed after the quest (since they can't reach you anymore) would be a bug yes.

dude, reread the OPs post they have not finished the quest or failed it.

so not a bug lmao.

like i said: the move was to either reload so you can complete the quest without getting caught, or get ARRESTED to fail the quest.

running away with the quest still active?

wow.
