How can i make Jauffre stop attacking me?
Hello together, first time Player of Oblivion here.
I began with the main quest until the "allies for Bruma" quest.
Then i went and began/finished the dark brotherhood questline, i had like 40 infamy and didnt really know what it was so i just kept on going.
When I returned to the main quest and wanted to start the battle for Bruma, I just got attacked by Jauffre.

I checked with the console to see his disposition and even after Seductive Charm, it was 0.0

I went and got rid of my infamy and got back, i charmed him again and the console said it was 64.
So i tried it again and he still attacked me when I said im ready to the countess.
I reloaded my save and now it said that the disposition with the Charm was 0 again.

I killed him and ressurected him with the command, still he attacked me and still his disposition was at 0

Is there any way to fix this? preferably without command, bc i would love to still get achievements

i would also love to keep Jauffre because I wasnt able to join the blades yet.
Probably due to the disposition low disposition.

The latest save i have, where his disposition is over 0 is right when i startet the game. like 3 hours in. i would not want to go back to that because right now i am like 30 hours in.

Having the exact same issue. I have 0 infamy and I've never accidentally attacked him. No clue what to do.

Whenever you anger a quest npc you should be able to always yield to them by putting away your weapon and pressing the talk key. This also works on other npc's if your persuasion is high enough.

You actually have to block while trying to talk to the attacking NPC to attempt a yield, at least in OG Oblivion. Otherwise they've changed that for the remaster.

A calm spell might work. You could also use damage speed poisons or a drain speed custom spell to drop his speed to zero. Zero speed characters have an aggro range of zero for some weird reason.
You could also try fortifying your personality in addition to using a high potency charm spell.

I installed a mod that makes achievements still available with commands used, so i just put his disposition up with a command. for some reason it was -35 or smth like that.

Maybe because I got on his horse one time to unstuck him

That did sadly not work
"If you pull out your weapon, and start a fight you cant finish,Put your weapon away, Your Opponent Might Forgive you.".....

Yeah..... That Daedra dosent have much in the way of forgiveness.....
Lies.

The defense of Bruma is weird it seems. I got all the allies, defeated the mobs, entered and closed the great gate. When I come back, the allies are killing themselves off (none attacked me), for whatever reason. Martin survived because of being essential, but Jauffre bought it.

There is no chance to help any NPC anyway. You cannot target in the constantly moving mass and are bound to hit a random NPC, be it heal or firebolt. You can use calm, which works for a moment, and then one of the others hits the calmed NPC, and off he goes again :)
That is what makes the final fight so impossible.
The hard part for me was keeping Martin alive until the Great Gate opens. He is not essential during this part of the quest and can be killed.

Wow i wonder what happens if he dies. How would the Story end?

It forces you to reload as if you died. "Martin Has died. All hope is lost." says something to that extent. This also happens if Jauffre dies when you go to return Martin and Waynon Priory gets attacked.
