Crashes AMD
6800xt red dragon
5800x
32gb ram
Worked fine day one, every day after it’s been either gpu dumps or exception access crashes. I’ve tried updated to the optional AMD update and rolling back. Taking off my overclocks, recompiling shaders, redownload, revalidating, played with all the settings, turned everything to default in adrenaline, nothing works. Any ideas?

Sometimes it’s loading through doors and other times I’ll load in walk 10 ft and it’ll crash. Yesterday I did the whole thieves guild quest line somehow with about 5-6 crashes in between. After that it went right back to consistent crashes 2 or so minutes after loading in if it will even let me.

Makes no sense right? If it’s the recommended hardware why does it crash so much? It makes me think they just rolled some dice on what to put on there for recommended.
I don't get it myself dude I think it may be something to do with AMD Radeon Conflicting with unreal engine 5 That's my guess
Just wondering if Xess worked for you

Having the same problem. Crash log reported following error;
[0427/155215.825:ERROR:gpu_init.cc(426)] Passthrough is not supported, GL is disabled.
Haven't a clue what this means or how to fix. Running a Radeon RX 7900 GRE with 16GB VRAM. Constantly crashing: opening a door, activating M for map, selling an item,etc. Can't really enjoy game at all.

Testing it right now, aswell as turning off auto saves when loading
Turn off up scaling, its whats causing the crashes.
