Even if you really wanted to play oblivion, you're better off with the original for now, it's a fraction of the cost for the same experience. This version just has higher graphics (that many rigs can't run smoothly) and retains all the jank the original had.
It doesn't have an unofficial patch yet. So, if you want a smoother experience out of the box, choose Skyrim. But if you are used to a couple of setbacks and these don't make you upset, then try this one. If you don't mind old graphics, then pick up the original one.
Better, is objective. I would say Old School fans will say Oblivion, but tbh its up to the player.
If youre strapped for cash, get Skyrim.
Gotcha. Thanks
No one said Skyrim was better than Oblivion, he asked which game would offer him the most bang for his buck, and the answer is Skyrim.
